About

Built by practitioners, not just software.

RecWorks Credentials is built and operated by Community Works Collective — an advisory firm rooted in communities-of-practice methodology.

The product exists because CWC's advisory work needed an issuance layer worthy of the recognition being designed.

CWC designs communities of practice, convenes learning networks, and makes learning visible through digital recognition. Time and again, that work reached the same wall: communities living on Circle, Slack, Notion, and Thinkific had no native way to issue meaningful, verifiable credentials. RecWorks is the answer to that wall.

Because of that lineage, RecWorks encodes how CWC thinks about recognition — evidence over completion, the issuing organization as the authority, credentials that outlast the vendor — not just how software issues badges.

A family, not a clone.
RecWorks is the first product in the CWC family — a distinct platform entity, operated with its own trust surface.

Honest about scale

RecWorks is a focused, expert-operated platform — not a company pretending to be bigger than it is. No invented team grid, no logo wall. What we offer is documented controls, a real trust surface, and people who answer their email.
